Asseco Business Solutions was founded in 2007 as a result of a merger of leaders in the IT industry, strengthening their positions for many years: Incenti, Safo, Softlab, and WA-PRO. April 1st, 2009 Asseco BS has merged with Anica System, the same the company's portfolio of products and services enriched by factoring and mobile systems and integration and analysis services. Due to the merger of resources of renowned and highly-valued brands, Asseco BS has a potential which allows for quick implementation of the mission “of building state-of-the-art IT solutions making it possible for Customers to gain competitive advantage” as well as for maintaining and strengthening its position of a leader offering its own IT products and services for companies, both in Poland and the European Union.

Asseco BS has offices in 11 cities in Poland and a network of more than 500 Business Partners in the whole country. The technological and business partners of Asseco BS are the largest corporations in the world. Since November 19, 2007, the company has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
