KiD, a distributor of Asseco WAPRO, has completed the implementation of ENDI solution handling patient services and medical procedures in private outpatients' clinics NZOZ ENDOTERAPIA. The launched system is based on the WF-Mag program.
ENDOTERAPIA is a privately-held and largest endoscopy centre in Poland, reporting approximately 10 thousand performed medical treatments and surgeries annually. It has two branches: in Warsaw and Lodz. Some time ago, the centre was after a system that would improve patient services and medical procedures, as well as facilitating and automating the work in general, while being able to maintain data consistency. Finally, NZOZ ENDOTERAPIA opted for ENDI software, combined with the PRESTIGE version of Asseco WAPRO WF-Mag. No Polish medical establishment involved in endoscopy had possessed such a tailor-made application before. Implementation and maintenance for the solution were entrusted to KiD - the Golden Partner of Asseco Business Solutions.
KiD developed and implemented ENDI and integrated it with: WF Mag, Prestige version, Endobase (a programme for image recording) and KS-PPS (a system for calculating service costs for reporting to the National Health Fund). The solution automated patient services such as: visit scheduling, confirmations, creating medical records, generating reports for the administration and the National Health Fund. The patient registration module was adapted to handle complete data recording sufficient to generate the territorial code (TERYT). It can also produce reports on the waiting lists for a given period divided by partners and contractors. It is also possible to import address details to KS-PPS.
Once qualified for treatment, the medical module of ENDI sends the patient's data to Endobase, with helps document the course of treatment, including image storing. Endobase generates a treatment card containing data on the procedure (involved staff, used equipment, description, codes for procedures and disease entities) and images. After treatment, the procedure data are transferred from Endobase to ENDI where the full medical records are stored in accordance with the applicable law.
ENDI and WF-Mag are so configured as to run in multiple functions/positions and in various medical centres. The host server with WF-Mag and ENDI is located in Warsaw and links to the Lodz ENDOTERAPIA centre remotely.
"Asseco WAPRO and ENDI has enabled us to offer a top standard of patient service, which generated greater interest in the NZOZ ENDOTERAPIA clinics and stimulated further development. By implementing the new software, our services have been optimized, error risk reduced to a minimum, and costs effectively curbed; we have also optimized data interchange between our Warsaw and Lodz branches" - says Jarosław Gąsiorowski, Director of NZOZ ENDOTERAPIA.
"The ENDI application automates patient services and enhances their quality. The implemented solution is genuinely universal and may be successfully employed in other medical establishments. This product has already been deployed and tested; it is constantly developed and ready for further marketing" - says Krzysztof Fiedorczuk, owner of KiD.
