Asseco Softlab SEOD is a BPM (Business Process Management) and DMS (Document Management Systems) system for optimizing the company's in-house processes. The programme supports the flow of work and information across the enterprise and enables paperless operation through converting traditional documents into the electronic format while processing. The SEOD application has been so designed as to handle such areas as purchasing, holidays, absences or business trips. It can also expedite operational processes, for example, the handling of offers, agreements, invoicing and other non-financial records.

 

Easy access in the office and away

 

Asseco Softlab SEOD can be accessed by the personnel via a web browser, without having to install any extra software on workstations. For travelling and out-of-the-office managers, a mobile phone system version has been prepared. Any notification and control of deadlines for individual matters can take place via a mailbox or text messages.

 

Aggregate acceptance panel

 

To expedite managers' work of accepting a large number of ongoing operations, SEOD has been fitted with an aggregate acceptance panel. In one screen, it shows demands, purchase invoices and holiday requests submitted to the logged on superior. The manager may accept a single item, collective items or manage the acceptance path for an item. Also the entire document can be viewed together with its attachments.

 


Notifications and reminders

 

The programme is equipped with a set of mechanisms facilitating the circulation of documents within the company. For example, a mechanism of e-mail notification of pending documents and a reminder mechanism (e-mail, text message) to inform of delayed handling or authorization of documents.

 

Circulation of documents in a mobile phone - the iSoftlab application

iSoftlab is a solution for the personnel, especially managers, frequently travelling away from the office. The application is mobile phone-ready (iPhone) and helps view all circulated documents and carry out the same operations as with SEOD. iSoftlab handles any urgent matters requiring immediate acceptance and thus facilitates work and document flow. The phone displays both the acceptance panel and all documents and attachments (e.g. an electronic invoice).

 

   

 

Integration with other systems

 

Asseco Softlab SEOD is an integrated module of Asseco Softlab ERP. It can be installed on a shared database. In this configuration, all the operations controlled by SEOD are immediately visible in other parts of the system. Asseco Softlab SEOD may also operate as a stand-alone tool and is able to communicate with any ERP, HR or CRM system.
